Introduction to the Teaching Project Podcast (Part 1)


The Roy R. Charles Center and Information Technology’s Academic Information Services group is conducting a two-year collaborative project focused on expanding the impact of programs to enhance faculty development and the community involvement in exploring excellence in teaching in all its forms. Produced as part of this collaboration, The Teaching Project Podcast discusses issues related to teaching and learning in higher education and features faculty from the College who participate in various Charles Center programs and workshops.

The inaugural episode features Dr. Joel Schwartz , Director of the Charles Center, and Dr. Eugene Roche, Director of Academic Information Services discussing the Charles Center’s work in the area of faculty excellence and the goals of the partnership between the center and Information services. Both men also have academic appointments, Joel in government and Gene in education. Finally, Joel serves as Dean of Honors and Interdisciplinary Studies.
